Mrs. Hemmer and 4 students attended an FFA Land Evaluation (Soils) clinic and contest last week at the Tierra Learning Center in Leavenworth. The students
learned about soil science, natural resources, and how to evaluate soil quality to maximize plant growth and health. Afterwards they enjoyed some German food on the way home.
This clinic/contest was in addition to Mr. Dezellem taking students to the FFA rangeland practice contest in Omak last week (see previous post).
Brewster FFA had a busy but educational and productive week!
