Dear Brewster High School Families,

Dear Brewster Community,

My name is Jake Johanson and I am so excited to introduce myself as the new principal at Brewster High School. This will be my 14th year working in the Brewster School District. I have served as a special education teacher, leadership teacher, high school football coach, culinary, and senior success teacher during this time. I am ecstatic to begin this new journey as high school principal!

I was born in Wenatchee and have spent my whole life living in North Central Washington where I attended school in the Methow Valley School district, Pateros School District, and graduated from Eastmont High School. I received my AA from Wenatchee Valley College, bachelor's in education from Central Washington University, master's in special education from Grand Canyon University, and my principal certificate through Eastern Washington University. My wonderful wife Kayla and I have three children and will celebrate our 15th anniversary this September!

I am very excited for the opportunity to serve our community in this role. Thank you for entrusting us at BHS with the safety and growth of your children.
