Annoucement of School Board Vacancy

Dear Brewster School District Community,

The Brewster School District is announcing the pending vacancy of a "district 3" board seat. Our board member Erik Rios has announced his resignation, effective February 5, 2025. In accordance with District Policy 1114, Board Member Resignation and Vacancy, the school board is now seeking applications from qualified individuals for this position.

District Policy 1114-The Brewster School District has a school board director vacancy. If you are a United States citizen, a qualified voter of the district, a resident of Director District # 3, and wish to be considered for appointment to the Brewster School Board, pick up an application at the District Office at 520 W. Main Street. Applications must be returned by February 19, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. Interviews will be conducted on February 20, 2025, at 4:00 p.m. in the District Building, with the new board member being seated on February 24, 2025. All qualified residents are encouraged to apply. If you have any questions, please call 689-3418.

● A completed application and questionnaire found on our website, or retain a copy from our district office.

● A brief letter of interest

● A current resume

The deadline for submission is Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, by 4:00 PM.

Starting at the intersection of US Hwy 97 and Bridge St N.

South on Bridge St N to the Columbia River.

East and south on the Columbia River to the school district boundary.

Counter-clockwise on the school district boundary to the northern crossing of Old Hwy 97.

South and southwest on Old Hwy 97 to US Hwy 97.

Southwest on US Hwy 97 to the point of the beginning.
